Cool and refreshing - we don't have those here in Mesquite.  :(Lakes, I mean)

Janna, that is beautiful, thanks! And I do love barns.

Virginia - It's a pond fed by a year 'round creek.  Full of critters like catfish and garter snakes.  They saw a moose on the hill behind the barn the other day.  And a newborn fawn in the grass behind me.  A special place!

Andrea - I was actually thinking as I snapped the picture, Andrea is going to love this one!  Really!  There were a couple af big lambs on the bank by the water, I wish they wouldn't have run off when they saw me looking at them...

Hi Janna,

great pic! I have been getting into photos of barns myself. Also love the reflection in the water.

Janna, this photo is so inviting, and I love the reflection that you caught! There is something nostalgic about a red barn!

That a neat photo, brings back memories of where I grew up on a farm.  Everyone should live on a farm just once in their life time. I can still remember all the hard work, but many rewards.

Janna,

That is a very peaceful setting, quite idyllic - a great place to getaway. :)
