Today, as I watched my husband Rick install a brochure box on one of my yard signs, I reflected on how blessed I am to have him in my life. Nowadays I call Andy the Sign Guy when I need a yard sign installed. Soon afterwords (for a price!), a sign appears like magic and I get a text with a picture to prove it. It wasn't always so. In Colorado, I had my own sign inventory, they were metal framed signs and they needed to be pounded into the ground. Easy when you had a nice soft lawn. Rick was my sign guy, and I can't tell you how many times he pounded those metal signs into rock hard ground until they bent under pressure.
Today, he took a drive with me to Cataldo to put two screws into a brochure box to attach it to my sign post. Certainly something I could have handled! But the gesture was sweet, and I grabbed my camera to capture the moment in time. For 35 years he has been there to support me in everything I have ever done. Thank you Rick! You'll always be my favorite sign guy, and so much more!

Rick sounds like a great guy... Congratulations o 35 years together. These days that's no small feat! :)
Janna, cute sign guy! I think he is a keeper, and I believe so do you! :D
Janna - a very nice tribute to your "sign guy". I hope he gets to hand a lot more for you. Congrats on 35.
My oh my! I was afraid that you were confessing something rather than showing your supportive husband. Janna, Congrats on 100k points also. It has been a while since I visited. Did you change company's too? You really write fun posts...
My guy is Rick too! We have been married 31 years. I know how you feel. I am so blessed to have such an awesome man in my life. We are two very lucky girls!
Hi Janna, That's so sweet. My husband went with me for the first few sign installs -- when we got there, the first one lot was decomposed granite- it was placing a sign in sand!! and the second was easy too- after that, I think he figured I could handle it on my own.
He's always there to help screw the signs to those metal frames and drill holes when they don't fit the frame. What would we do without our sign-ifcant guys!!!
I have a sweet husband who helps out when I need him to do so. Love that you captured this with a photo. And I have to say, you two must have been babies when you got married.
I love it when my husband helps out with the business. I have to tempt his tummy first and then he is good to go.
Janna, it is crucial to have the support of your spouse, in this or any business venture. Without the support, you fight two battles.
Janna, that is so sweet! I have a sign guy also and we are just a few years behind you. This year is our 33rd anniversary.
Janna - Everything about your post is (Happy) and please let Rick know he has been featured at ..........
HAPPY AT ACTIVERAIN

Thanks Marcus, it's good to see you here! You may have just been one when I got married, but you have certainly done a great job of making up for lost time!
I love your sign guy, too!
