My friends in Chattanooga posted their candidate for the worst MLS photo of the week. These photos are all to frequent, and truly make me feel like my head is going to explode! I can't even tell WHICH room in the house this is!
I thought about challenging them, but after a look at their photo, decided to concede! I does beat my last Horrible Photo entry, at least you could tell mine was the kitchen! Here's my all time favorite Horrible Photo. I actually drove by it to see what it REALLY looked like, and it was a really cute little house!

The only thing worse than a bad picture is NO PICTURE at all.

Wow. Probably better to not have a picture then show that!
Hi Janna--OMG what is it?? Were they selling a flea market ??!!LOL - If this isn't a flea market, I agree- no picture would be better. Hope you have a great day! Thanks, Janna.
Hi Janna! NO WAY! I've seen those homes but, won't list them until they're cleaned up--still waiting on a couple to call me to list their home after listing with another agent who tried to sell the property looking just like this! And, I'm not sure if not having a picture at all wouldn't be better!!!
This may have been after the homeowner cleaned up.....
Susan - What a funny thought, that this might have been AFTER they cleaned up! I can honestly say that NOTHING surprises me anymore!
That is a terrible picture, maybe if they turned the lights on it would brighten the place up, ha.
It would be very difficult to have a photo worse than this one!
I initially thought it was a kitchen, but looking closer, there's no way it's a kitchen... but there is a white dishdraining rack on the middle counter ??? What the heck room is this ????
Janna,
I took some photos of a home where the unruly tenant moved out. We needed them for the attorney. Those photos were worse but the MLS will not see them.
I hope this picture was not taken after the property had been professionally staged.
Janna; This is pretty bad. I've had to take some like this because you sometimes meet a seller that just can't clean, no matter how many tmies you tell them too. They have zero space and no money for a maid service. YUck!
...um... I don't even know what to say. Ugh!
LOL! Janna, all I can think of is Niecy Nash singing "Who Wants A Clean House"? You have to wonder WHY people don't clean up knowing they're putting their home on the market?
Ouch thats a good one. Check out this post with really funny pics that easily could have been avoided: OMG Look at this listings Pictures!
I'm not sure I would agree with the last line. There are definitely times when having no picture at all is better than having the picture they have. I have seen a picture of a toilet taken from directly above that had solid waste in it. No picture at all would have been better. Far better.
I would choose no picture before I put something like that into MLS. How sad.
Russel - I'm with you. For sure it owuld have been better to have had no picture than to have had that one!
Hi Janna,
Looks like a listing we had. We refused to take the listing or waste our time taking pictures until the owner cleaned, uncluttered and tossed the overstock.
What was the gent thinking? Obviously he/she wasn't!
As a REALTOR/Staging Specialist I have seen worse - my problem is with the agent who thinks this is ok to post.
It still suprises me how many bad photos are on the MLS but also that there are SO MANY listings without photos! will they ever learn...this was great by the way!
OUCH....what a terrible room. I'd hate to live there, or have to clean this room. I can't believe this photo was put in the MLS..
